The Company

This means you will be stretched and your breadth of thinking will be challenged on a daily basis as you will be cross-selling like never before. You will also have resources on tap like few consultancies out there and be able to build on your skills across a variety of disciplines such as public affairs, employee comms, digital or financial comms. What they are from you is the desire to help them build their portfolio in investment management, bringing your network to the table.

The Role

Key challenges and opportunities in this Board Director – asset management role:

  • Personally drive new business in the asset management space, and in other related sectors and businesses
  • Act as ambassador for this consultancy’s impressive track record
  • Take on a prominent and proactive role in new business means that means you will tapping into your network, enjoy networking and presenting
  • Use your communications expertise to develop integrated campaigns
  • You will be responsible for motivating, coaching and steering the team at all levels, operating within an open no-silos structure so your people management skills will be stretched

The Person

Key attributes and experience for this Board Director – asset management role:

  • Have solid experience working with forward-thinking companies both advising at a corporate level and driving thought leadership and campaigns within asset management
  • Your background might be working in a consultancy at director level currently or in-house at an investment manager as a senior comms professional (previously having worked in an agency)
  • Be a self-starter who eager for the challenge of being a board level member
  • Deeply versed in the issues facing asset management and experienced at advising at the C suite level
  • Well networked and keen to use your contacts to help build the business
  • Have the ability to cross sell across communications disciplines
  • Proven track record of building teams and inspiring and motivating team members
  • Hold strong relationships across the sector with media, intermediary and consultant relationships
