In an increasingly complex environment, the pressure on businesses to change has never been higher. From transaction to transformation, this consultancy guides companies through complex and critical communication phases and assists them in implementing their corporate decisions. They work with clients over a wide range of sectors and issues to deliver on their business and communication objectives. This includes designing and realising change programmes in the context of M&A, restructuring, strategy communication, or culture change. They are in the process of hiring, as this sector is seeing increased growth and requires extra, dedicated resource. There is currently a temporary Partner in place, as the current Partner is about to go on maternity leave.

As a strategic consultancy they work across the entire spectrum of financial and corporate communications. The client base is a mixture of FTSE 100/250/mid-cap and international companies.

The Role

Key challenges and opportunities in this Associate Partner – Transformation & Change role:

  • Alongside the impressive Partner and the team, you will be a main driving force on client activity, owning and developing existing and new client relationships
  • Develop strategic, creative and innovative work for clients to highest quality standards
  • Lead the team on preparation of client documentation including presentations, Q&As, etc.
  • Play an important part in new business and initiate opportunities to pitch, lead the generation of the pitch documents/presentations and participate as required
  • Own strategy development and implementation on client briefs
  • Participate in new business development and marketing activities, including development of tools and formats for the Transformation & Change practice
  • Develop marketing materials, e.g. thought leadership

The Person

Key attributes and experience for this Associate Partner – Transformation & Change role:

  • Working at Associate Director or looking for a step up from being a Senior Account Director, you must have recent agency experience in change management/change communications or similar communication roles in an agency or in-house
  • Proven ability to hold senior client relationships and advise C-Suite clients at eye-level
  • Sophisticated writing skills and proven ability to connect business strategy to communications outcomes
  • Able to quickly synthesise complex information into simple, high impact messages
  • Must be a team player, have a positive, ‘can-do’ mindset and work effectively with colleagues at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple, concurrent projects within deadlines
  • Excellent understanding of global business issues, current affairs, economics and politics
