This global integrated communications consultancy have a wealth of corporate communications experience across a number of sectors including technology, health, financial and professional services, education and consumer brands. They are looking for an experienced corporate communications professional to appoint as Associate Director. This is a generalist role. You will be part of a flat management structure, learning from a highly experienced, affable Head of Corporate. You will be responsible for growing existing clients, leading global mandates with exciting brands, advising on strategy and managing a team. Over the last few years, they have grown at pace and are considered a main player.

The Role

Key challenges and opportunities in this Associate Director role:

  • Manage the strategic aspects of growing and developing new and existing business
  • Be part of their long standing winning streak and help drive and win new business opportunities; convert leads and opportunities into revenue
  • Serve in a leadership role within the team, alongside Directors
  • Provide high-level media relations strategy and counsel and high-level media contacts
  • Negotiate client conflict and resolve issues to both clients’ and agency’s satisfaction
  • Hold revenue and growth accountability and inspire and manage matrix teams across markets

  • Understand complex businesses and their issues; demonstrate strategic thinking and a big-picture approach
  • Sector experience in any of the following is useful - technology, health, financial and professional services, education and consumer brands
  • Remain hands on with the media
  • A trusted and reliable advisor to senior client contacts; maintain high-profile and high-level counsel to clients
  • Lead on crisis response and issues management with clients
  • Demonstrate high-level influencing and communications skills
  • Effective portfolio management that manages multiple accounts while still ensuring stability of each account
