They would like to hire a corporate comms Account Director to cover the remit of crisis communications and issues for major household brands, responding to any scenario as well as undertaking proactive strategic campaigns.

The Role

Key challenges and opportunities in this Account Director - Crisis Communications role:

  • Undertake crisis communications and reactive PR for consumer facing large brands in a range of industry sectors
  • Advice and counsel senior members of the client company on their response
  • Model potential crises and generate responses to ensure clients are on the front foot wherever possible
  • Innovate creative proactive campaigns for a range of clients across industries which means you need to be agile
  • Manage and mentor junior members of the team
  • Contributing to new business lead development and pitches

The Person

Key attributes and experience for this Account Director – crisis communications role:

  • You will have interest and previous experience in risk, issues & crisis management, either preparedness or live response
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering high-levels strategic advice, particularly in crisis situations.
  • Big brand experience is paramount, you could be working at Account Director level in an agency or you could be a confident senior account manager looking for the next step up
  • Solid campaign experience; be able to demonstrate that you have undertaken work understanding the consumer but also corporate messaging
  • Have the drive and determination to be in one of the best agencies in London
