This international corporate and financial communications consultancy has a partnership structure and a long standing history of high profile successes. They advise major corporates, financial institutions, and investment firms at the highest levels and practitioners class themselves as generalists. They have offices internationally and mandates include major cross boarder financial transactions communications, investor relations, corporate positioning, media relations, crisis and issues management, government consulting and digital communications. There are some exciting plans for the London office and they are now looking to build the team at Associate Director level which is where you come in. The business is highly profitable and everyone benefits from this. 

The Role

Key challenges and opportunities in this Corporate and Financial Communications Associate Director role:

  • You will have the strategic abilities to shape campaigns and have exemplary client relationships building skills to advice and counsel C-suite counsel on complex, cross boarder deals and corporate campaigns
  • Capitalise on new business opportunities as well as organically growing existing business
  • Mentor and be a role model to the highly talented, well-educated team of corporate and financial professionals
  • It’s time to leverage you new business and presentation expertise to help generate business and contribute to the company growth
  • Only the truly collaborative will thrive as you support colleagues with work in offices across the world as clients and mandates are shared across the business
  • Demonstrate your skills in issues management and whether you are a specialist or a generalist, your major corporate expertise will be utilised

The Person

Key attributes and experience for this Corporate and Financial Associate Director role:

  • It’s likely that you are currently working at Associate Director level in a corporate and financial communications consultancy looking for more autonomy and want a place where you can shine
  • You will have a collaborative, ‘roll up your sleeves’ approach in order to deliver exceptional results working across client teams in multiple offices
  • Experience of issues management, M&A /financial transactions, corporate positioning at C-Suite level ideally with mid cap/FTSE companies
  • You could be a generalist or a specialist, this is not a concern but you must be willing to handle clients across industry sectors
  • Ideally you will be well connected in London and happy to network with the team
  • You must be hungry to move on and up, be credible, have client servicing at the heart of how you deliver and have an entrepreneurial drive
  • Good education credentials is ideal
